The SSM-517 Earpiece/Microphone.
Combines a miniature earpiece and in-line microphone providing discreet and comfortable control for Yaesu radios, such as the VX-7 and the FT-270.
The SSM-517Â may be used for VOX operation with any transceiver which has the VOX feature built-in (such as the VX-7 Tri-Band Handheld Transceiver) as well as a compatible threaded connector. The SSM-517 does not have VOX circuitry built-in.
